Red River Classic Car Show
May 31 - June 2, 2013
Over 200 of the most awesome classic, hot rod, and 2013 cars cruise into Red River for this exciting Car Show.  Friday is the Chamber sponsored Meet and Greet Hot Dog dinner at the Bull O' the Woods Saloon.  Saturday June 1st from 10am to 5pm enjoy the Show and Shine in Brandenburg Park.  Live performances by the The Damn Band on Friday evening and Saturday and "The Tennessee Show" will be pumping it up on Saturday as well.  www.RedRiverClassicCarShow.com

72nd Annual Fourth of July Parade

Be a part of this time honored tradition in Red River.  The Parade will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m. and will proceed westward down Main Street.  It’s not over yet, after the parade stroll down to Brandenburg Park where you can enjoy great live music, delicious food, refreshing beverages, and good old fashioned family fun!

It is approximately 1,600 vertical feet to the top of Red River Ski Area. Strap your mountain bike to the back of the Platinum chairlift, unload, and cruise down the mountain on a variety of trails, hike around Red River Ski Area and have lunch at the Lift House Bar and Grill or at The Tip Restaurant (located at the top of the ski area), or just catch a round trip ride and enjoy the simplicity and beauty of the mountains. This simple enjoyment includes breathtaking views of: Carson National Forest, The Town of Red River, New Mexico native vegetation, and grasses and surrounding mountains. Your senses will be enlightened with the fresh scent of wildflowers, crisp mountain air, sounds of wild birds, and the gentle mountain breeze.

Enchanted Circle Century Tour

The Tour begins in Red River, 8 a.m. Sunday morning in front of the Red River Community House.  The route is from Red River to Questa to Taos to Angel Fire, through Angel Fire to Black Lake and back through Angel Fire to Eagle Nest and back to Red River.  We will have five rest stops, three to five sag wagons and EMS driving the circle.  The elevation begins at 8,750 ft. in Red River, goes down to 7,500 ft. in Questa, down to 7,000 ft. in Taos, then up to approximately 9,000 ft. in Palo Flechado Pass, up to 9,820 ft. in Bobcat Pass and then glides back down into Red River.  There is a 25 mile and 50 mile out and back, and a 100 mile tour.
