Blues Boy Willie is a True legend in his own time. He was born to sing the blues
in the small cotton farming community of Memphis, Texas. His career began
before he knew the meaning of the word. Willie’s Father was a bluesman himself
and played harmonica for the Mother of the Blues herself, Ma’ Rainey. Willie’s

and eight years of age when the blues bug would bite him.
After college Blues Boy Willie traveled to California to join his brothers band. He gained an
enormous knowledge of The Entertainment Business. He moved then to Atlanta, Georgia
signed with label Ichiban Records. His second CD hit the billboard charts and stayed on the
top of the charts for 21 weeks. “Be Who” gave him a trilogy and one more CD before Ichiban
reorganized. Willie toured with Miss Lee and B.B. Coleman performing all through the Delta.
